The State Unitary Enterprise "Technical Center for Television and Radio Broadcasting" of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) provides broadcasting in the republic of programs of central, republican and commercial television and radio, coordinates the development of television and radio program distribution network, as well as provides data transmission services via satellite multi-service network "Yakutia".

Today the company's activities cover 364 settlements of the republic, including the most remote and hard-to-reach ones. The enterprise by means of 31 subdivisions provides operation of 1205 TV and radio broadcasting program retransmitters.

In 2013 television of Yakutia celebrated 50 years since the first broadcasting. The jubilee year for telecom operators was marked by the modernization of Yakutia's satellite network, which included the transition to the new DVB-S2 MPEG-4 standard. This allowed a more efficient use of the satellite channel and created the basis for providing additional communication services to the population of the republic.

IPTV service (more than 100 TV channels) is provided in two populated areas of Yakutsk and Lensk. VSAT and WiMax Internet access services are provided throughout the republic. Construction of the Company's own network based on GPON technology is underway. Iridium satellite communication services are gaining popularity.

Today the SUE "TTRC" has a task to build a network of regional digital interactive television in the republic on the basis of the existing republican satellite network "Yakutia". This will cover as many settlements of the republic, including sparsely populated and hard-to-reach, with innovative interactive TV technology. Interactive television networks make it possible to use a single channel for both the Internet and TV, which will open up opportunities for the interactive presence of residents of remote settlements in the life of the whole republic. First and foremost, it also provides access to information services in electronic form, to Internet portals of public authorities and other media. Interactive television by connecting innovative set-top boxes to TV sets that provide TV receivers with a return link, which is very important for the population of the republic who do not have computers and Internet access, gives the possibility of controlling the air (online voting, viewing documents on the websites of public authorities, etc.).
Thus, improving the existing regional television and radio broadcasting infrastructure using new technologies will be able to provide mass access to comprehensive information resources even in the most remote hard-to-reach areas and solve the problem of the "digital divide" between large cities and small settlements, the "last mile" problem - the problem of providing access to information services to the end consumer.

The company has a staff of highly qualified specialists and has the necessary material and technical equipment meeting all safety requirements. Today the company has more than 400 employees.
