The corporate network of the university campus, the Petrodvorets Academic and Research Complex of St. Petersburg State University, supports the main activities of the university: modern educational process, scientific research, automation of managerial and economic activities. It unites four faculties: Physics, Mathematics and Mechanics, Applied Mathematics and Management Processes, and Chemistry. The network includes eight research institutes, rector's offices, administrative and household services. Nine student dormitories are connected to it. The network includes more than 1200 computers. Through the campus modem pool, about 1000 employees and students have access to the Internet. The campus has a microwave link to the RUNNet network (4 Mbps) and Vasileostrovsky Academic and Research Complex (2 Mbps) via the M-01 microwave relay system.
