Since February 2002, when Karabakh Telecom began its activity under the leadership of its founder Mr. Pierre Fatush, the company undertook to realize various programs in Nagorno Karabakh with the aim of developing, expanding and improving its telecommunications network with high quality equipment, establishing and developing a cellular network, expanding Internet services, providing new modern communication services.
February 12, 2002 was a historical day for Karabakh Telecom: it was marked with the first cellular call. From the start of its activity "Karabakh Telecom" started to provide mobile and fixed communication services. Already in October, 2002 "Karabakh Telecom" provided Internet services in Stepanakert, and from January 2003 - in the regions. In April 2003, the company opened its first Internet salons.
Despite the difficult terrain of Nagorno-Karabakh, Karabakh Telecom successfully provides network coverage throughout the territory, erecting new cellular stations in the regions, thanks to which 95% of the territory of the republic is now provided with cellular communication.

The linear networks of Stepanakert, all regional centers and big rural settlements were fundamentally reconstructed and expanded. The analogue telephone station was replaced by the digital telephone station, which made it possible to provide new numerous and qualitative communication services.
All subscribers to the digital station got the opportunity to use Internet services. In recent years, the volume of Internet services has increased several times.
