Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Informatics. It was founded in 1953.

The University is located in Novosibirsk. It is the basic educational complex of the Federal Agency of Communications in the region, a major research center for the study of communication problems and development of telecommunication technologies.

SibGUTI, being a unique for Russia high school, has one of the best parks of special communications equipment, computing equipment of the latest generation, software of the leading telecom companies over the Urals. The university has training centers and laboratories of a number of well-known foreign companies working in the field of infocommunications.


The university mission is to provide a full range of possible educational services in the sphere of telecommunications and informatics on the basis of development of educational-scientific-innovative university complex, providing continuous multilevel professional training and retraining of world-class specialists, as well as scientific-innovative activities in the field of infocommunication technologies aimed at socio-economic and cultural development of strategically important region of the Urals, Siberia and the Far East and entry of Russia into the Russian Federation.
