Nostra was founded in 2002. IT and telecommunication services were chosen as the main direction of its activity. Already on June 21, 2002 the company received a license N2642 for the provision of communication services, issued by the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Belarus for a period of 5 years.

Within 6 months the company purchased the equipment necessary for organization of the Internet access, signed a contract with RO "Beltelecom" and organized the test access for the users to evaluate and further "fine-tune" the available infrastructure. On February 1, 2003 it was announced about the end of testing and introduction of the permanent tariff network for the dial-up Internet access services.

Also in February 2003 the company signed a dealer agreement for provision of hosting services from the leading Russian hosting company Highway.ru. The company's package of Internet services was supplemented with Unix- and Windows-hosting, domain name registration and support, and later with email hosting services.

In the summer of 2003 Nostra doubled the capacity of external channels, began offering Internet access via dedicated lines and launched its own line of Internet cards for retail sale.

In November Nostra became the first official dealer of the 3rd generation cellular network Diallog in Gomel. The company's office organized connection of clients and sale of cellular phones of IMT-MC-450 (cdma2000) standard.

By the New Year 2004 the specialists of the internet-services department of the company prepared a pleasant present for the users - the second modem pool with the capacity of 30 digital modems was started. Thus, the total number of telephone lines to service user calls reached 60.

In spring 2004 Nostra announces the launch of Internet access services via leased lines based on xDSL standards. The number of dedicated access users is doubling. A special tariff offer unique for Gomel for connecting private home networks to the global Internet network is also introduced, making dedicated Internet access services available to home users as well.

In June, Nostra signed a dealer agreement with one of the largest suppliers of licensed software from the well-known world manufacturers in Belarus, NEF Company.
